Description
The rivers in the South Of England are famous locations for sighting the restored Thames Barges and I wanted to show this one off with a dramatic sunset. The colors of the glowing sunset are catching the sails to add drama.The old wooden dingy in the foreground adds to the age of the subject matter and acts as a foil. Inspired by 'Plein Air' days as a guest of the Wapping Group. Bill has been painting and selling his artworks and prints for over 30 years and they are collected worldwide. You will see a wide variety of subjects and many locations around the world when looking through his galleries on this site many of which have been inspired by his travels.
