Description
Like my 'Sudden Storm' painting this location shows Faro de Punta Tuna in the background but is a little further along the Playa. The fishermen frantically rush to pull the boats higher up the beach as the storm gathers strength. The darkening sky has triggered the lighthouse to shine its warning beacon. Waves are crashing on the rocks and spray is hitting the beach as a burst of sunlight makes it through the darkening sky. A washed up palm tree in the foreground is a reminder of what the storms can do. Bill has been painting and selling his artworks and prints for over 30 years and they are collected worldwide. You will see a wide variety of subjects and many locations around the world when looking through his galleries on this site many of which have been inspired by his travels.
