Golfing partners are putting out on the 9th green of the course and as well as the clubhouse the 18th green can be seen to the right. The sun is casting long shadows over the fairway and there is a contrast of lights and dark in the painting to help showcase this iconic course. Winged Foot West will host the US Open championship again in 2010 having been the host on 5 previous occasions. The PGA Championship has also been hosted once in the past.
