Description
There is something magical about speeding down the slopes as fast as you can and experiencing the exhilaration that you get - whilst in this case the fast skier thinks 'Catch Me If You Can'.
The very popular skiing resort of Zermatt in Switzerland. This area borders Italy. The famous Matterhorn takes a prominent position in this painting as rightly it should.
The name of Zermatt, as well as that of the Matterhorn itself, derives from the alpine meadows, or matten (in German), in the valley. The name appeared first as Zur Matte ("at the meadow") and became later Zermatt.
Bill has been painting and selling his artworks and prints for over 30 years and they are collected worldwide. You will see a wide variety of subjects and many locations around the world when looking through his galleries on this site many of which have been inspired by his travels (bill is one of the best sellers for Skiing artworks). There are also a wide variety of products available in addition to the prints and therefore the painting that you like can be seen on many items. Hopefully you will enjoy looking through Bill’s artworks and since he is painting full time please visit his site regularly to see the latest
