This was painted as a result of a visit to various parts of South Wales. I loved the feeling of tranquility and can imagine Dylan Thomas writing away as he looks out on the view from his little writing hut that is perched up on the hill. The Laugharne Castle once stood as a guard for the River Taf. Bill has been painting and selling his artworks and prints for over 30 years and they are collected worldwide. You will see a wide variety of subjects and many locations around the world when looking through his galleries on this site many of which have been inspired by his travels.
